St John's Lodge No.328, meeting in Torquay, felt that they could do with an update on Solomon. The Provincial Grand Mentor, W. Bro Chris Thomas, was only too happy to attend along with W. Bro Chris Bird, Area Mentor, and provide the latest information about Solomon, which has been live for one year now.

The talk was very informative and it was apparent that early feedback to UGLE had been listened too and Solomon was now more user friendly. There are still some areas that can be confusing to the newcomer but Chris and Chris were able to provide sound guidance on best practice.

I think it is safe to say that everyone who was in attendance probably learned something useful that night and certainly made masonic advancement. If you would like to know more about Solomon then please check the information here - https://www.pgldevonshire.org.uk/information/mentoring/solomon

The evening continued with the traditional Christmas dinner and our favourite Christmas carols, especially The 12 Days of Christmas, sung in our normal energetic way, ably led by our W. Bro David Dawson, Director of Ceremonies.

We also had the company of 6 brethren who had travelled from the Province of Cornwall to be with us and enjoy the celebrations.
