Forty Freemasons and their guests from three Provinces, gathered on Sunday 28th October at Newnham park estate near Plymouth for the regional masonic clay pigeon shoot hosted by the Devon Masonic Shooting Association.
A Strong breeze made for challenging conditions for the competitors, with Bristol coming out on top with the highest team score of 190.
The individual Masonic high gun went to Devon’s shoot captain Dominic Higgins with 67, and highest score for a guest of 73 went to Chas Gooding from Cornwall Province.
In the lady’s competition Cornwall’s Nic Herber took top honours with a score of 32.
Winter sun and excellent catering from Sam Lound of Davy Hall, added to a great day of fun and fellowship and over £300 raised for charity.
