3 generations at DinglesDingles Heritage Fairground was the venue for a free family event as part of the Tercentenary celebrations in the province. The Provincial Grand Master, R.W. Bro Ian Kingsbury, arranged the event as a thank you to the families of Freemasons in Devonshire. There were 400 tickets available with a proportion going on a first come first served basis and the remainder allotted by draw. There was even a waiting list should tickets become available.

It was a very successful event with rides to suit everyone as well as historic displays and traditional fairground stalls, all of which were free to those who attended. One family attending comprised of three generations - W. Bro David Goode (St John's Lodge No.328), his wife Jan Goode, daughter Nicci, friend Cherie and grandchildren Charlie and Lola, who all had a fantastic evening. (Pictured - W. Bro Goode, Nicci and Charlie)

"Our almost 2 years old granddaughter, Lola, just loved the rides, especially the ladybird roundabout, which she refused to get off for almost an hour! I am sure I speak on behalf of all the guests when I say 'Thank you Provincial Grand Master for such a generous and enjoyable evening.'"

What an excellent evening at Dingles Fairground. Thank you to the PGM for sponsoring the event and to all those Grandparents, Parents and Young People that truly enjoyed every second. Thanks also to Kit LeMarquand for organising the Classic Car Run, for bringing the PGM and handing over the Golden Gavel on its journey to Cornwall. Below are an assortment of photos taken at the event.
