The launch of the Tercentenary Celebrations in Devonshire at our Provincial Grand Lodge Meeting on 10th April 2017 was a great success. There was a televised Press Conference before Provincial Grand Lodge was opened with RW.Bro Ian Kingsbury Provincial Grand Master which was later shown on the local BBC Spotlight programme.

With the Tercentenary Banner in the background, photographs were taken with representatives from the 8 Provinces that form Group 9, the South West Region. The Banner was then taken into Provincial Grand Lodge where it was dedicated by W.Bro. Raymond Bray MBE Provincial Grand Chaplain.

At Provincial Grand Lodge the PGM spoke highly of the Tercentenary Celebrations and the Events planned throughout 2017. He also encouraged individual and groups of Lodges to open their Lodge building to the general public in an effort to reach out to the community and communicate the very positive work Freemasons are involved in.

After Provincial Grand Lodge the Banner was handed over to RW.Bro. Ken Rondell PGM of Jersey to start its journey through the eight Provinces which form the South West Region.
