At a packed end of season awards evening, chairman Nigel Mountford expressed his thanks to the Freemasons. He said...

"We are really grateful for the money which will be used towards the purchase of more training equipment for our junior section, which continues to thrive.

We now boast eight teams of varying ages who compete in the South Devon youth league."

He added...

"The junior section at Bovey Tracey has been integral to the overall success of the club.

Our fourth XI which plays league cricket on Saturdays, was formed a few years ago to enable our junior players to break into senior cricket much earlier.

In 2017 the first XI were crowned Devon champions after winning the Premier Division of the Devon Cricket League.

This past season has seen the second XI promoted to the B Division and in doing so are now the highest placed second XI in the Devon Cricket League.

Additionally our third XI was promoted from their respective division."
