A local man who until quite recently was fit and active and running in The London Marathon was facing being house bound through a debilitating illness. When Freemasons from two local lodges, The Vale of Haldon and Salem Lodges, learned of his plight they stepped in and arranged the provision of a buggy, providing the bulk of the funds needed. Pictured here is Paul Neal on his brand new machine which he is delighted with.
Freemasonry is more and more being seen as a force for good in the community, and is pleased to be involved in this project along with our friends at Dawlish Community Transport who arranged the supply of the buggy. Applications for membership are on the increase after the five week series on Sky TV recently. If you have an interest check our website www.Dawlishmasons or our Twitter feed @db7949.
