teignbridge masonic widowsOn Thursday 17th March the Almoners of seven Teignbridge lodges attended a lunch given by the Teignbridge Masonic Widows association, they were all delighted to be in attendance for a superb presentation given by a member of the Freewheelers Charity, a motorcycle group of volunteers who deliver out of hours emergency coverage to the NHS when blood or organs are desperately needed in any of our hospitals throughout Devon which was followed by a superb lunch.

There were some 45 widows in attendance who thanked the Teignbridge lodges on who’s behalf the almoners were attending, for the care and consideration shown by the brethren and for the contact’s made and the donations sent which helps to maintain the groups ability to exist. From the cheerful and happy greeting the almoners received along with the fine conversations held over lunch I have no doubt that this group will go from strength to strength and continue to meet and look after each other for many years to come. It was a pleasure to have been there.
