Following the very successful and enjoyable events held in previous years, the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent will again this year be holding a Summer Dinner at the Langstone Cliff Hotel, Dawlish Warren. The Langstone Cliff is a first class hotel, set in its own grounds overlooking the sea, with ample parking.  If you have not attended a function here, I recommend looking at their web site: -www.langstone-hotel.co.uk

The M.E. Grand Superintendent wishes this to be a relaxed and companionable occasion to which all are welcome: Companions/Partners/Friends etc. (What an wonderful way to introduce a Brother to the Royal Arch or even a new member to Freemasonry).

The meal will be three courses, consisting of Starter / Main Course / Sweet followed by Coffee and Mints, at a price of £27.50 per person and is on an a-la-carte basis so you can choose on the night. The Menu is well designed to cater for most tastes, the chef prides himself on using as much fresh locally produced food as possible. In addition he is ready and able to cater for the majority of special dietary requirements.

For our table entertainment this year “Dave Hickory” and “George” the Balloon sculptors are both back by very popular demand.

For those wishing to make this an even more memorable occasion overnight accommodation is once again available, however this year the hotel have changed their pricing policy to a dynamic pricing system, meaning that as their rooms fill up, the price goes up. They have agreed for us  10% off their current room price at the time of booking, but basically it’s first come first served will get the better price.  As guests book, they will need to mention that they are attending the Grand Chapter dinner to get the discount.  Deposits will need to be paid (£20 per person, non returnable) to secure the booking. Contact details for the hotel are: 01626 868000, E-mail: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.   The Grand Superintendent and Mrs Lin Rowe regard this as an important occasion:  In many respects the social highlight of the Holy Royal Arch Calendar, consequently please make every effort to attend with your Partner and as many of your friends and neighbours as you wish to invite.

To book please complete and forward a copy of the booking form (below) to myself at my home address.

Yours sincerely and fraternally,

Chris Roach
